New Year’s Safety / Happy New Year

new-yearRinging in the New Year with fireworks, poppers, and champagne make an exciting celebration for humans, but your pet might feel otherwise. The loud noises can frighten dogs and cats. Keep them relaxed by providing a quiet room with a fan, TV, or music playing to create white noise. Remember to clean up confetti before your pet decides it looks like a good snack and ends up with an unpleasant stomach issue.

Let’s help make this New Year’s and the holiday season calmer for our fur-babies.  We have medication to help with noise phobias if that is a problem for your pet.

We at Animal Medical Clinic would like to wish you all a Happy New Year!
