Animal Medical Clinic believes it is important to lend a hand to our communities who have supported us. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe the significance of giving back. Even the simplest acts of benevolence — the ones we think of as “random acts of kindness” or “no big deal” — are actually incredibly important. Volunteering in all shapes and forms strengthens our communities, brings people together and provides us with valuable experience and insight.
Recently we have donated a raffle basket to Coastal Boxer Rescue for their “Woof, Wag & Wiggle” fundraiser, and another basket for the “Pool for Pets” fundraiser benefitting the ASPCA. Both of these events were held on November 3rd.
We also will be sponsoring “Hoot in the Park” hosted by the Florida Wildlife Hospital on November 17th from 10am-2pm. We will have Michelle, Kayla and Dr. Postiglione there behind a table giving out some useful information….and maybe some treats
Last but not least, we have partnered up with Promise, selling dog treats in our Melbourne locations. Promise is a nonprofit organization established in 2009 to provide a safe, affordable housing opportunity for young adults with special needs, allowing them to live independently while simultaneously working and thriving in their community. These young adults bake these cookies themselves and deliver them to be sold at our clinic for $5 a bag. The proceeds go right back to the Promise community.
