Dr. Godwin attended the World Veterinary Orthopedic Congress in Barcelona, Spain from September 12th-15th. The World Congress is put on once every four years by the Veterinary Orthopedic Society and the European Society of Veterinary Orthopedics and Traumatology. As President of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, Dr. Godwin worked on the Planning Committee and addressed the attendees at the closing banquet. He also served as Chairman of a session on Surgery of the Knee.
Besides his official duties, Dr. Godwin also attended lectures on skin reconstruction, wound management, tendon injuries, feline joint surgery, and fracture repair. We do our best to stay current on the latest advances in veterinary care for our patients. We are passionate about animals and find fulfilment in caring for them. The information learned at the World Congress helps all of our doctors do that.
