The 47th Annual Conference of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society (VOS) was held from February 1-8 in Sun Valley, Idaho. Dr. Godwin attended the Conference, where he was the immediate past president, along with 260 other members. Members presented on the newest developments in veterinary orthopedic research and techniques. Topics included fracture repair, cruciate ligament injury, patellar luxations, complications and corrections, sports medicine and rehabilitation, and regenerative medicine. In addition, the keynote speaker, Martha Murray, M.D. of the Boston Children’s Hospital gave updates on the latest research from the field of human orthopedics. Dr. Godwin is bringing these techniques, tips and products back for training and use at Animal Medical Clinic, where our Mission to provide our patients the highest quality in medical care.
